Finally, 12 years after debuting its dinosaur platform of elements, the LEGO Group has released a stegosaurus. While there was a crude version in the Dino Island wave of Adventurers and multiple brick-built sets through the years, this is the first modern, moulded version. 76965 Dinosaur Missions: Stegosaurus Discovery was worth the wait. However, it is missing something. While a herbivore, its spiked tail is still a major hazard for minifigures and should be restrained before anybody goes near it.
Back when Jurassic Park was first released in cinemas, an expansive action figure line of toys debuted alongside the film. Representations of characters and vehicles seen on screen were joined by a variety of accessories, tools and off-screen hardware such as a helicopter that could drop nets. One subset of these expansions was restraints, muzzles, and other accoutrements that attached to the dinosaurs to secure their pointier ends.
