The LEGO parts you need to build a mini Star Trek Enterprise

Would you like to build a mini Star Trek Enterprise? Then here is a list of all the pieces you need to construct this LEGO model!

The Enterprise D, from Star Trek: The Next Generation, represents the height of Federation design. Its smooth lines and graceful profile contrast sharply with the more angular ships of earlier eras, yet it still pays clear homage to its predecessors through the familiar saucer-and-nacelle configuration. This blend of continuity and evolution made the Enterprise D instantly recognisable and cemented its place as a science fiction classic.

Capturing the ship’s most distinctive feature, the oval-shaped saucer, is the defining challenge of this small model. Unlike the circular disks of earlier Enterprises, the D’s elongated oval requires the model to be constructed at an odd number of studs in width. A single row of studs goes between opposing pairs of curved wedge elements to create the subtle elongation that defines the disk’s look.

The instructions for building this model can be found in Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, Issue 134. You can buy the magazine here. If you subscribe to Blocks, you’ll get at least three new sets of LEGO build instructions in every monthly edition!

Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, provides exclusive instructions for models you won’t find anywhere else. You can follow the instructions closely and build the exact model shown, or take them as inspiration to build something similar but unique. Either way, these builds are a great way to learn techniques and upgrade your LEGO building skills.
