The LEGO parts you need to build a classic LEGO Castle dragon

Would you like to build the dragon from LEGO Castle? Then here is a list of all the pieces you need to construct this LEGO model!

Everyone loves the original LEGO dragon from Castle and now Basil the Bat Lord is back as Vampire Knight, it’s the perfect time to build a modern version of the dragon. You can switch the black parts for green if that’s the one you prefer!

Recreating that perfect fusion requires a lot of SNOT building with studs facing in every direction. Cheese slopes are used to mimic the reptilian skin included on the original along with plate hinges for the arms. The end result is a little larger than the original, but still looks great when paired with a minifigure.

The instructions for building this classic dragon can be found in Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, Issue 114. You can buy the magazine here. If you subscribe to Blocks, you’ll get at least three new sets of LEGO build instructions in every monthly edition!

Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, provides exclusive instructions for models you won’t find anywhere else. You can follow the instructions closely and build the exact model shown, or take them as inspiration to build something similar but unique. Either way, these builds are a great way to learn techniques and upgrade your LEGO building skills.
