LEGO Masters US is getting a new host for Season 6 – Nick Cannon is joining the hit building competition as Will Arnett departs.
Nick Cannon is joining LEGO Masters for its sixth season, replacing Will Arnett, who has fronted the US edition of the show since it debuted in 2020.
Arnett already had a connection to the LEGO Group and its film and television productions, having played LEGO Batman in 2014’s The LEGO Movie and 2017’s The LEGO Batman Movie. Dutifully carrying out his role as host, Arnett has added a lively comedic flair to the often-intense building challenges. After five seasons, there was no lost love between Arnett and the show — scheduling conflicts are what means he won’t be back next year.
Season 6, which will air in 2026, will thus feature Nick Cannon as host, switching up the recurring cast on LEGO Masters US for the first time, Deadline reports. Cannon doesn’t have the same connection to the brick as Arnett had at the start, but what he does have is a good relationship with Fox, the network LEGO Masters US airs on — he currently also serves as host of The Masked Singer, another popular game show.

“I’m a huge fan of LEGO Masters,” Cannon said. “It’s an honour to join the series and host another show with my Fox family. I can’t wait to see the insane creations and give away a big bag of money to the best of the best.”
“Nick is a proven entertainer with a fantastic rapport, and we’re eager to witness how his unique style will elevate the competition during the new season,” shared Sharon Levy, CEO at Endemol Shine North America.
And while welcoming Cannon to the team, Levy was sure to highlight Arnett’s contributions to the first five seasons: “Of course, none of this would have been possible without the phenomenal Will Arnett, who guided us through five truly superlative seasons. Will’s comedic brilliance and genuine passion for the show laid the perfect foundation, and we are immensely thankful for his incredible contribution.”

Will Arnett will certainly be missed as host, but the addition of Nick Cannon does provide the opportunity to add a fresh personality to the show as it enters its sixth season. And the host isn’t all that’s new — LEGO Masters will be hosting live auditions for the first time.
Built on its cast of lovable LEGO fans, LEGO Masters sources new builders for each season. And this time, it will be done via live auditions at LEGOLAND California hosted on June 21 and 22, 2025.
Auditions are open to teams of two and solo builders (the first time solo competitors have been invited to the show) and ask potential contestants to bring a MOC with them that best shows off their building talents. Builds will be shown off to the producers, with Nick Cannon and the two judges, Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard, also in attendance to evaluate. Not to mention the cameras recording it for television and LEGOLAND guests observing from the background.
LEGO Masters US Season 6 auditions are open to anyone over the age of 18, but do have limited space and require reservations, which can be found at LEGOMasterstv.com.
Season 6 will air sometime in 2026, with filming slated to begin in autumn of this year. And Season 5, Will Arnett’s last, is currently airing on Fox in the United States. The next episode will air on June 16.
