Blocks has a next look at what (may) be the next generation of the LEGO SMART Brick, with authentic dialogue from Star Wars Ahsoka Tano.
Can the Blocks magazine team really have their hands on the next generation of LEGO SMART Play already?! Always ready with the scoop, Blocks might just have a prototype SMART Tag on the back of BrickHeadz 40539 Ahsoka Tano.
In this video, Graham demonstrates what he claims is the next step in the tech infused platform. SMART Play launched in LEGO Star Wars earlier this year, with three sets that include the SMART Brick and five that are compatible with it. The LEGO Group has promised that it is the first step in a big journey that will be the future of play.
This new prototype that Blocks claims to have uncovered could be the next step in that journey, offering authentic lines of dialogue instead of the mumble approximations of the first SMART Play sets.
“I know Anakin, your vision is flawed,” declares Ahsoka, with the SMART Brick apparently emitting an accurate rendition of the Jedi’s dialogue from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
…except that Graham may have a little assistance from the originator of the Ahsoka Tano role, actor and entrepreneur Ashley Eckstein. The talented performer steps in to reveal the real secret behind this alleged next generation LEGO SMART Brick.
