LEGO House in Billund, Denmark is adding fun new experiences for guests this summer including a new Build the Change challenge and an updated store experience with a fresh Build a Minifigure.
Visitors to the LEGO House in Billund will be able to take part in new experiences added across the building this summer, including a new Build the Change activity and a revamped LEGO Store.
The LEGO House is advertised as the Home of the Brick, and there’s truly no better title. The building comes packed with all sorts of LEGO brick fun, from build zones for fans, trips back in time and incredible models on display. Sometimes fan models even join the exhibitions thanks to contests hosted on LEGO Ideas. Already filled to the brim with activities for fans, LEGO House is updating experiences, products and food to keep things fresh for new visitors and regulars alike.
Blue Zone is refreshing the Build the Change challenge, where visitors will be tasked with building playful cities in conjunction with World Play Day on June 11. Tying to the LEGO Group’s commitment to sustainability and lessening environmental impact, this experience should offer a good chance for fans to take part in imagining a better future.
Red Zone’s Creative lab is getting a wackier new experience — guests will be able to build animals taking a holiday, letting them experience a climate they might not otherwise get to see, whether that be on land, underwater or up high in the sky.

One of the best parts of any trip is always the souvenirs, and the LEGO House is reminding visitors about the new exclusive set — 40506 Fabuland Tribute Set. The set is a love letter to the classic theme that’s a favourite among many LEGO fans. Other additions to the shop include a new Build a Minifigure wall and new displays. And of course, other exclusive LEGO House sets will still be available for purchase.
And for those who choose to dine inside LEGO House instead of braving the Billund restaurant scene, new options have been added to the menu. Not necessarily a thrilling bit of news on its own, but the new choices have been selected with the climate in mind, aiming to improve sustainable practices across all levels of the LEGO Group’s products and services.
Inclusivity remains a priority as always, with the Sensory Guide now available for any guest who requests one. The guide has a simplified map of LEGO House that’s designed with sight, sound and touch in mind to ensure every visitor is able to navigate the building and experience all they can.
Other LEGO House experiences happening this summer include the continuation designer signings, which will give fans a chance to meet the designers for some of their favourite sets and get a signed copy. LEGO Harry Potter designers will be at LEGO House on September 5 signing some sets.
Also coming in September is the debut of LEGO Masters Academy. This is set to be a new permanent upcharge experience at the LEGO House, where guests dive into learning new building techniques, tackling wacky challenges and telling stories through LEGO bricks. Finished models can be taken home, in a special souvenir box to boot. This experience is set to open on September 17.
Located in the heart of LEGO brick country in Billund, Denmark, the LEGO House is unfortunately a bit tricky to visit for international fans, but these new experiences are sure to make the trip worthwhile for fans who decide to make the pilgrimage.
