BrickLink Designer Program increases order cap for Series 5 LEGO sets

Five sets from the BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 are going up for preorder on June 10, 2025, at 4pm BST / 11am EST – and there will be more copies available than usual as the production cap has been changed.

The BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 is entering its preorder phase (also known as the crowdfunding stage) on June 10, 2025, and has extra sets available to purchase.

Typically, models need at least 3,000 orders to go into production and orders are capped at 30,000. The minimum is still the same, but thanks to overwhelming interest in the roster of sets, there will be more than 30,000 available for purchase. What exactly the new number is hasn’t yet been shared by the BrickLink Designer Program, so you’ll still want to act fast when the sets go up for preorder on June 10, but you’ll have some additional leeway in ordering the sets. It’s also unclear whether or not this will only happen for Series 5 or be applied to future Series as well, so if you’re looking to get your hands on a BrickLink Designer Program set, now might be the time.

The sets up for preorder are:

The Popcorn Wagon, by Mictur, is a charming little street vendor complete with a full wagon and base designed to look like a city sidewalk. This set is the smallest of the bunch, with just 584 pieces. But that also means it’s the cheapest, too, with a price of $54.99.

ThatOneGuySteve’s Antique Shop is a cosy country building with the shop on the ground floor and a small living space nestled upstairs underneath the pointed roof. It’s an impressive use of 1,918 pieces and comes priced at $149.99.

JonasKramm designed the Mushroom Village, which is by far the most whimsical model of the bunch. Set in a fantasy forest, the village is built into some giant mushrooms and flowers, with plenty of extra plants included to fill out the scene. The wave’s medium-sized set, the Mushroom Village comes with 2,436 pieces and will cost $209.99.

The Thieves of Tortuga feels like it would be right at home in Pirates of the Caribbean or sitting next to 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay. Designed by Krackenator, the model uses 4,002 pieces to construct a seaside pirate town, complete with cobbled streets and a variety of buildings big and small. With the large jump in piece count also comes a jump in price — The Thieves of Tortuga will cost $339.99.

And finally, Adventure in Transylvania by SleeplessNight is likely to cause a few sleepless nights for the minifigures who step foot inside the set’s haunted mansion. It appears to be abandoned, but maybe stay out of the basement… The largest set from Series 5, it comes with 4,056 pieces and has a price of $349.99.

Preorders for all five sets will go live on June 10, 2025, at 4pm BST / 11am EST. Increasing the order cap beyond 30,000 is a great way to ensure more fans can get their hands on these fantastic fan-designed sets, though the exact number of allowed orders isn’t yet known. So be sure to act fast if you want any of the Series 5 sets! Orders are then expected to ship in autumn.

Series 5 of the BrickLink Designer Program is the only Series going up for purchase this summer — Series 6 is due in October, and Series 7 in early 2026. So be sure to stay tuned to Blocks online and in print to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the BrickLink Designer Program sets.
