Woodland Village opening at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort for May half term

Half term is almost here and LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is opening the Woodland Village to give families a new option to stay on-site.

LEGOLAND Woodland Village is the newest addition to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort for this May half term, joining the existing LEGOLAND Hotel and LEGOLAND Castle Hotel. It will open on May 24 with 130 lodges, 20 camping barrels, an on-site restaurant and a family entertainment hub.

This nature-themed environment will provide LEGOLAND visitors with a contrast from the theme park, with accommodations for families of between two and seven people. Woodland Lodges, Premium Lodges and glamping-style Woodland Barrels will be the different options at Woodland Village.

In addition to the accommodation, guests staying at the new area will find on-site play areas to explore and an enchanting LEGO nature trail, featuring woodland creatures built from LEGO bricks.

The Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar will offer meal and drinks options. Themed to the woodland environment, the venue will feature a campfire beneath the twinkling tree canopy indoors, with tables also available on an outdoor terrace.

Those staying in the lodges will be able to use the Woodland Village AR Experience and see LEGO plants and animals transform the interior into a woodland haven to create picture perfect moments.

When you book a stay at LEGOLAND Woodland Village, it includes entry to the theme park, a round of LEGOLAND Adventure Golf (reviewed here) and breakfast. The newest attraction at LEGOLAND is the Minifigure Speedway Coaster – a duelling roller coaster with two competing cars!
