The Brick of Boba Fett and LEGO Star Wars reviews in Blocks magazine Issue 82

It’s time for Issue 82 of Blocks, the LEGO magazine for fans. This edition includes LEGO Star Wars reviews, a Boba Fett build, behind-the-scenes on LEGO Seinfeld and an introduction to LEGO Super Mario’s Luigi with the designers.

Blocks magazine Issue 82 is now available worldwide as a single issue or as part of a subscription – it will be in UK stores from August 5. Subscribe today to be in with a chance of winning the enormous Marvel Spider-Man 76178 Daily Bugle set!

Boba Fett is back with a new minifigure – so there was only one thing to do. We’ve built the most famous bounty hunter in the Star Wars galaxy a throne ready for his new streaming series The Book of Boba Fett. You’ll find instructions in the mag along with reviews of the new Star Wars: The Mandalorian sets.

We also catch up with the LEGO Super Mario design team to find out everything you want to know about Luigi. The character introduces two player games to the theme with new features and functionality. As well as explaining how they came up with this new way of playing, the designers give some tips for earning extra coins.

The designers of the new LEGO Ideas 21328 Seinfeld set share their story, with superfan Brent Waller joined by the professional LEGO designers who also happen to absolutely adore the long-running classic sitcom. Find out how they packed in references to their favourite episodes and captured the characters as minifigures.

In Reviews you’ll find our assessment of the 3,772 piece 76178 Daily Bugle and 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile. There’s also a look at new LEGO Super Mario, Disney Raya and the Last Dragon and VIDIYO sets.

Going retro, this edition of Blocks takes a look at the winding route that LEGO roads went on to go from flat boards to the new elements, before revisiting the beloved Space subtheme M-Tron with reflections on classic sets as well as instructions to build a modern robot.

There’s plenty more besides in Issue 82’s 116 pages, including the inside scoop on recycled bricks, the top 10 Harry Potter sets, micro ship building tips, a LEGO Clone Wars model you’ve forgotten, a rant about digital instructions and much, much more.
