LEGO NINJAGO is celebrating its 15th anniversary this summer with a limited-time experience, The True Ninja Trials, at LEGOLAND Discovery Centres in Birmingham and Manchester. Families can engage in interactive challenges and missions, meeting Master Wu and testing their skills. The event runs from July 11 to September 7, 2026.

The LEGO Group had previously announced its intent to acquire LEGOLAND Discovery Centres from Merlin Entertainments, and the deal has now been finalised, bringing all 29 locations under its ownership for the first time.

The BRIT Awards are getting a LEGO brick twist at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester. Master Model Builder Jacob McPeake created minifigure versions of the nominees and a model of this year's trophy to celebrate the award show coming to Manchester for the first time.

The LEGO Group is set to acquire all LEGOLAND Discovery Centres worldwide from Merlin Entertainments, who had owned and operated the attractions since their inception in 2007. This acquisition will bring LEGOLAND Discovery Centres under direct control of the LEGO Group, while LEGOLAND Resorts will remain with Merlin Entertainments. Both companies are owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family.
