To mark International Women’s Day, Blocks Issue 77 is spotlighting five of the women doing fascinating work at the LEGO Group. We start at the top, with Chief Product & Marketing Officer Julia Goldin – she’s responsible for the incredible sets that arrive on shelves and how the LEGO message is shared. Then it’s time to hear from Tara Wike, Signe Lønholdt, Laura Perron and Signe Wiese, who all work in different areas in the heart of the LEGO headquarters.

There’s a special gatefold cover featuring 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens, which folds out to reveal a beautiful extended image that also features 70620 NINJAGO City and 70657 NINJAGO City Docks. The interior showcases all three sets joined together across three pages. Within the magazine, there’s a review of the set and a Mod Squad project offering two ways to tinker with the set.

LEGO Design Master Mike Psiaki reveals how he turbocharged 10295 Porsche 911, the set that offers two supercar options in one. He discusses the process of designing the concept model, deciding to make it two builds in one box and incorporating a design feature he’d has his eye on.
