A new LEGO Stranger Things set is on the way – 40801 Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will Figures marks the first set based on the Netflick streaming series since 2022.
Based on Stranger Things Season 1, 40801 Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will Figures will contain 542 pieces spread across four LEGO BrickHeadz figures for a retail price of £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99, releasing on October 1, 2025.
LEGO Stranger Things surprised fans in 2019 with the release of 75810 The Upside Down. This set released before the advent of LEGO Icons, so a large collector targeted set based on a new IP was a rare thing when 75810 hit shelves. The set was popular among fans, but LEGO Stranger Things only ever managed one more set — 40549 Eleven and Demogorgon, a BrickHeadz set — before disappearing.
40801 Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will Figures shows the LEGO Group hasn’t forgotten about Stranger Things, releasing some of the show’s most prominent characters to join 40549 Eleven and Demogorgon in the LEGO Stranger Things BrickHeadz collection.

Each character comes with signature details and accessories, including Dustin’s hat, Lucas’ headband, Will’s jacket and Mike’s walkie-talkie. As BrickHeadz, they are heavily stylised representations of the characters, utilising goofy proportions and sparkling eyes, but fans of the show will find plenty to recognise as they build the figures and set them up on display to satisfy their LEGO Stranger Things shaped itch.
Fans who would prefer full play or display sets based on the popular Netflix show shouldn’t be dismayed by this release. LEGO The Lord of the Rings began its resurgence with a handful of BrickHeadz sets in early 2023 before shocking fans with the release of 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell in the spring. So for those not interested in BrickHeadz, this new set shows hope for more Stranger Things sets is at the very least alive.
Though it is worth noting that an appearance as BrickHeadz doesn’t necessarily mean that more sets are on the way, so keep any expectations low for now. More than one franchise has been given a BrickHeadz release and nothing more — 40793 Tom & Jerry Figures being the prime example from what’s currently on shelves. But LEGO The Lord of the Rings is a solid indicator that more LEGO Stranger Things could be on the way, as is the release of Transformers and One Piece characters in BrickHeadz alongside other play and display sets.
