With Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu in cinemas, the LEGO Group has revealed a new set inspired by the first season of the streaming show – 75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn.
In the second episode of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, “Chapter 2: The Child”, the creators demonstrated how wild the series could be with an action-packed yet comedic tale of Din Djarin going up against a band of Jawas who stripped his ship. With The Mandalorian and Grogu in cinemas, the LEGO Group has unveiled 75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn.
The set uses 1,683 pieces, retails for £179.99 / $199.99 / €199.99 and will launch on August 1 alongside 75454 Imperial Remnant AT-AT with INT-4. You can preorder it now at LEGO.com.
75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn builds the mighty travelling fortress of the Jawas in a colour scheme to match its appearance in Star Wars: The Mandalorian. Dials at the back of the model steer it, there is space in the cockpit for Jawas and there ae stud shooters so they can defend themselves from Din Djarin. The main compartment contains cargo boxes, droid parts and blue cookies.
There is also a buildable Mudhorn in the set, for Mando and Grogu to take on and earn their signet, plus three Offworld Jawas, Kuiil, original armour Din Djarin with battered helmet and Grogu. Most importantly of all, it includes the Suka egg that Mando retrieves for the mischievous scrap sellers.
