LEGO NINJAGO is celebrating all eras of its historic run for its 15th anniversary, with 71860 Lloyd’s Titan Mech 15th Anniversary recreating the fan-favourite original set in a modern style.
71860 Lloyd’s Titan Mech 15th Anniversary will come with 1,293 pieces and 3 minifigures for £119.99 / $129.99 / €129.99, releasing on March 1, 2026.
LEGO NINJAGO was never meant to reach its 15th anniversary — it was never even intended to ever reach its 5th. But the unprecedented popularity of the show and sets saw NINJAGO skyrocket into being one of the LEGO Group’s most popular themes. And for its 15th anniversary, the juggernaut is revisiting some of its most iconic locations and sets.
70657 Lloyd’s Titan Mech released in 2019 and revolutionised mech building, which for a theme as in love with mechs as NINJAGO was a major milestone. And now, with another six years under its belt, the theme is returning to the beloved model with 71860 Lloyd’s Titan Mech 15th Anniversary.

The new set captures the essence of the original while also making clear strides towards a more modern appearance thanks to new elements and techniques. The upgrades are most apparent around the shoulders and legs, which are both much more built up on the newer version; this is largely thanks to the part count being nearly 400 pieces higher than the original. Just about anywhere a new technique or different element could have been used, they have been — anything from the NEXO KNIGHTS shield replacing the gold bars on the chest to an entirely new head design. But there are a few spots where the original parts held on — such as the golden dragons on the head.
71860 Lloyd’s Titan Mech 15th Anniversary also gets an overhaul with its armoury, having a much more imposing sword and bearing a shield, something that wasn’t present in 2019. The shield can even be broken up and repurposed as wings, mimicking the original model, though the strikingly different appearance of the wings is where the two sets are likely to differentiate themselves the most.
The mech should be just as posable as others from the theme, featuring movable joints at the feet, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows and wrists.
Three minifigures make up the roster for 71860 Lloyd’s Titan Mech 15th Anniversary. Lloyd is of course included to pilot the mech, and Grimfax, while a solid looking minifigure, is hopelessly outmatched as the set’s only antagonist. The elemental Master of Ice is included as a bonus 15th anniversary character and gets a special stand that can be connected to other 15th anniversary characters.
