LEGO Icons Winter Village 10361 Holiday Express Train revealed

This year’s LEGO Icons Winter Village has been unveiled – 10361 Holiday Express Train is the latest Christmas steam engine set.

10361 Holiday Express Train is the latest set in the Winter Village collection from LEGO Icons. It will launch on October 1 and is comprised of 956 pieces. The set will cost £109.99 / $129.99 / €119.99. It includes a 3D printed element – the first time one has ever been included in a LEGO set!

The new Christmas build is a whimsical, cartoony model unlike the more realistic trains that have been delivered before. It is made up of a steam locomotive, with a bobbing smokestack, a bell-ringing polar bear car, a car full of presents and a passenger car with a charming table inside – wrapped in a bow. A platform with a bench and lamppost provides minifigures with a place to wait. The set also includes miniature toy builds, plus the first-ever 3D-printed LEGO piece to come in a set.

A full set of track to make a circle is included in the box. 10361 Holiday Express Train has also been designed so that it can easily be motorised with Powered Up! elements.

Both 10173 Holiday Train and 10254 Winter Holiday Train had more realistic features and a green colour scheme, which makes this new edition very different to what has come before.

It launches alongside a range of other Christmas LEGO sets that would make lovely holiday gifts, including 41843 Family Christmas Tree Decoration, 40820 Up-Scaled Santa Minifigure, 40809 Festive Gingerbread House and 40806 Gingerbread AT-AT Walker.
