LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 10 open for fan vote now

Ice Fishing by TheForge

BrickLink Designer Program Series 10 has opened its fan vote, giving you a chance to pick your favourite builds in hope of them becoming real LEGO sets.

Fan voting is open now for BrickLink Designer Program Series 10 models, with 599 designs fighting for 5 spots in the crowdfunding phase. Voting is open through February 20, 2026.

Operating similarly to LEGO Ideas, the BrickLink Designer Program allows fan designers to submit their own ideas for LEGO sets. But where LEGO Ideas has open submissions where designers can submit whenever and fans have hundreds of days to vote on a particular project, the BrickLink Designer Program operates on a much tighter timeline.

Projects are uploaded as part of numbered series during a certain timeframe. Then, following checks by the BrickLink Designer Program team, a series opens for fan vote to narrow down the projects to the top five.

Instead of LEGO Ideas’ 10,000 supporters system, the BrickLink Designer Program has three options for each project: not for me, like it, love it. This allows fans to easily give feedback on every set and creates a good idea of what projects will be popular with the widest group of people, while separating out the ‘loves’ from the ‘likes.’ The tallies are kept secret so no one project can gain or lose votes based on its total.

Following the closure of fan voting on February 20, the BrickLink Designer Program team will evaluate each project based on build experience, brand fit and voting results. So in the same way that every project that reaches 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas doesn’t get turned into a set, a BrickLink Designer Program series has to make some serious cuts to whittle the selection down.

The five winning designs will be announced on March 19, 2026. Preorders will not open until February 2027, as the projects have to go through a similar refinement process to LEGO Ideas, though the final models remain close to the original project designs.

You can check out all the models in Series 10 of the BrickLink Designer Program and vote for your likes and loves by heading over to the BrickLink Designer Program site. And while you’re waiting for the winners to be announced and go up for preorder, Series 7 will soon be available for purchase on February 16, 2026, and Series 8 will open for preorder on June 1.
