For a while after it launched this set was very hard to get, constantly sold out everywhere. I can see why. For the price of 25 GBP your get a very good quantity (6!) and selection of figures and four these are of the very popular 501st clone legion type. While one is a very cool trooper with a jet pack. Moreover the set includes a walker, the type of clone-kit every Star Wars fan appreciates and that you can never have enough of. And it also comes a slightly less exciting speeder bike.

The built built of this 285 piece set was not demanding. It took my very experienced 7-year old chief imperial engineer less than 45 mins to put everything together. Without any interference from my side, with the exception of the few somewhat tricky stickers

Given the limited scale of the set, it does not include many sometimes more intricate Technic elements nor any advanced building techniques.

As always with Lego, the set is great for building, display and as certainly is the case with our Star Wars Lego sets; they are super great for play. Our son can spend hours playing with his Star wars Lego’s. I envy him for that; I played a lot with Star Wars at his age but there wasn’t Lego Star Wars, that is simply great given the scale and the variety of vehicles and playsets.

The scarcity of the set is an indication that Lego should release a few Clone Wars-based sets every year. The current generation of children will watch the excellent series over and again on Disney+. And of course they will want to replay big battles. For that they need clones, battle droids and a few jedi heroes and equipment. We added non-official clones and battle droids to our armies, a cheap and somewhat satisfying way to increase the ranks. But admittedly the quality of these figures if far less than the official Lego material. Which in fact makes me appreciate a set like this, with a good selection of clones, even more.

My son loved this

When I first saw this set for the 501st clone troopers, I was instantly impressed and brought the set. I enjoyed building the figures ( which the 501st look great and printed detail looks perfect) and the vehicles. However, I found it tricky to apply the stickers to best of my care, but still the stickers looked great on the vehicles. The instructions are good and easy to follow in building this set. Overall, this a fine Lego set for any Star Wars fans and fans of The Clone wars series and definitely a worth a addition for any lego collection. Also if you have a small plastic or small box to keep any spare parts is also a recommendation.

Present for my grandson

Being a massive clone wars fan and having a little nostalgia trip fueled by lego, this set was a must have.

The figure selection is awesome, 1 501st Jet Trooper, 3 501st troopers and 2 droids, this battle pack is perfect for the "Build your army" tag often attributed to these battle packs.

The construction was enjoyable and these models looked great. However the only gripe I have with this set is only really an issue for fans looking for realistic sizing. The AT-RT is ridiculous large in comparison to the figures, nowhere near accurate to the true size seen in the clone wars show, and looks a little ridiculous. If you're worried about this, have no fear, using the pieces from the set you can make a more accurately sized AT-RT and barc speeder, with tutorials on YouTube and you even have enough spare parts to scrap together a small speeder.

Overall this set is a must have if you're army building or if you just wanna build a cool lego set!

Bought this a part of grandson birthday present and he loved it . As expected with Lego excellent product and instruction booklets

Very worth the money especially if you managed to find it discounted, was out for a good while and a great army builder, wish lego made smart decisions like making these sets more often

Questa è una scatola che, come molti altri, desideravo aggiungere alla mia collezione, ma per oltre un mese è stata molto difficile da trovare, in quanto per le minifigures contenute è stata un vero successo.

Da anni la gente chiedeva un battlepack della 501st Legion, e ogni anno veniva rumoreggiata la sua imminente uscita, salvo poi essere smentita puntualmente. Quest'anno invece, seppur non nelle vesti del tradizionale battlepack, i fans sono stati accontentati.

Il set comprende due veicoli e sei minifigures, che si dividono nel BARC Speeder, due Cloni e i due droidi nella busta numero 1 e l'AT-RT, e i due cloni rimasti nella seconda busta.

I veicoli sono ben fatti e divertenti da costruire, anche se li trovo decisamente fuori scala rispetto alle minifig.

Minifigures che sono assolutamente il punto di forza di questo set: comincerei parlando dei due battle droids, che sono ormai classici, ma permettono di aumentare il numero di questi simpaticoni nelle nostre collezioni. Troviamo poi tre Clone Troopers della 501st, con una stampa completamente nuova (addirittura è stampata la parte frontale dei piedi) e un nuovo volto sotto il casco, con una tonalità di pelle più scura rispetto a quella dei precedenti cloni. Infine c'è il Jet Trooper, con la stampa de torso e del casco differente da quella dei suoi "fratelli" generici, e dotato di braccia blu. Oltre ovviamente al Jetpack. Inoltre, a differenza dei classici Battlepack, ogni minifigures è dotata di un fucile classico, a differenza dello sparapatate che eravamo abituati a trovare nei box da 15€.

Per finire, consiglio assolutamente questo set, anche se penso sia inutile dirlo visto il successo riscosso.

Das LEGO Star Wars Set 75280 „Clone Troopers der 501. Legion“ ist wirklich ein tolles Set für alle Star-Wars-Fans. Besonders die Minifiguren sind ein großes Highlight, da die 501st Legion bei vielen Fans sehr beliebt ist. Die Drucke der Figuren sehen hochwertig aus und die Auswahl ist gelungen.

Auch die kleinen Fahrzeuge wie der BARC Speeder und der AT-RT machen beim Bauen Spaß und passen gut zum Set. Der Aufbau ist nicht zu schwer und dadurch sowohl für Kinder als auch für erwachsene Sammler geeignet.

Insgesamt bekommt man hier viel für sein Geld, vor allem wenn man gerne Clone-Trooper sammelt oder Szenen aus The Clone Wars nachbauen möchte. Für mich definitiv eines der besten LEGO Star Wars Battle Packs der letzten Jahre.
