Child creator wanted to become LEGO Creative Director

The LEGO Group has created the Kids Creative Studio – and it needs a director. One lucky and talented child will get this unique opportunity and be awarded $10,000 for their future education.

Children aged between seven and seventeen in the USA can apply to become the LEGO Kid Creative Director and have the chance to develop unique content including a commercial and VIDIYO music videos. The whole team working on the project will be child led.

As well as using VIDIYO, the children will use other creative tools to create promotional content for the LEGO Group and stretch their skills.

“We’re thrilled to be able to empower kids to keep doing what they’ve been doing the last year and truly honor this creativity,” says LEGO Senior Brand Relations Manager Amanda Madore. “We’ve seen the ways kids are reimagining play and the innovative ways they interact with their peers. We believe now is the perfect time to celebrate this creativity by turning over the creative reins to them, recognizing and rewarding kids for being the true creative superstars they are.”
